As one of the smaller retailers in the children's goods segment, Baby Needs focuses on providing high-quality and safe products for families with young children. The e-shop prides itself on personal customer service and offers products that are carefully selected with comfort, safety, and practicality for both children and parents in mind. Due to its focus on children's needs and expansion of its product range, Baby Needs has become a favorite choice for parents all over Romania.
Challenge
Baby Needs specializes in selling children's strollers and car seats, which are products with high competition and often a longer decision-making process on the part of customers. Additionally, the e-shop faced limitations due to the less modern appearance of the website, which may have affected the conversion rate. The goal was to increase sales and turnover through PPC campaigns, with Google Shopping campaigns being the main tool.
Our Approach
1. Quick Start and Learning Phase
We began our collaboration in January 2024. The first quarter was dedicated to the learning phase, during which we focused on data analysis and setting up optimized campaigns. Given that it was a smaller e-shop, it was crucial to quickly identify effective strategies and adapt to Baby Needs' specific needs.
2. Product Data Optimization
One of the key steps was improving the product data, which is the foundation for successful Google Shopping campaigns. We optimized the product feed to best match the search queries of potential customers, thereby increasing the relevance and reach of the ads.
3. Switching to Target ROAS
Thanks to the successful optimization during the first quarter, we were able to quickly switch to bidding strategies focused on target ROAS. This approach allowed us to effectively manage budgets and achieve higher returns on investment.
Results
Through careful product segmentation, campaign optimization, and adapting the strategy to the specifics of the e-shop, we significantly improved campaign performance. A ROAS of 3,370% is proof of the success of our strategy and the effectiveness of Google Shopping campaigns.
